Brooke Babin is a committed and experienced Supervised Behaviour Consultant with over six years of hands-on experience in the field of Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA). She has developed a deep passion for helping clients achieve their fullest potential by fostering growth, confidence, and independence. With a focus on creating individualized, evidence-based strategies, Brooke aims to empower both her clients and their families, ensuring that every learner feels supported and valued in their journey of self-development.
Brooke's approach to ABA is rooted in compassion and understanding. She is dedicated to creating an environment that encourages growth and positive change, not just for the learner, but also for the families and support systems involved. Her philosophy is guided by the belief that "when a flower doesn't bloom, you change the environment in which it grows, not the flower." This perspective drives her to tailor her interventions to the unique needs of each individual, ensuring that the right conditions are in place for success.
In addition to her extensive experience, Brooke has completed specialized coursework in Applied Behaviour Analysis from St. Lawrence College, and training through the Autism Partnership Foundation, which has further solidified her expertise and understanding of best practices in the field. Through her work, she strives to create lasting positive change, build confidence, and encourage self-empowerment for every individual she works with.

With a career dedicated to serving others, I have spent my entire adult life as a Professional Helper in various capacities. My journey began as a Counselor, working with adults with complex developmental delays, and transitioned from supporting individuals in institutional settings to providing services in inclusive, community-based environments. This experience led me to work with vulnerable families within their homes and communities. In 1994, I took on the role of Program Coordinator, later becoming Executive Director of a Family Resource Centre, where I served for 16 years as a Parent and Family Educator, Program Developer, and Organizational Leader, advocating for at-risk families and children. I have also had the privilege of teaching as an Adult Educator at two Provincial Community Colleges, training adults with unique learning needs and aspiring counselors.
Since 2005, I have been in private practice as a Registered Professional Counselor, continuously advancing my education and expertise to better serve my clients. Throughout my career, I have learned that offering support during a person's most vulnerable moments can be one of the most rewarding and fulfilling aspects of human service. My professional philosophy is rooted in the belief that positive growth and change occur when we encounter the right person at the right time—someone who can help us navigate the path to the changes we seek. It is a privilege for me to be that catalyst for others, and it is why I am so passionate about the work I do.
Please note that psychotherapy services provided by Linda are not the same as Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) services. However, psychotherapy is still covered through the Ontario Autism Program (OAP) insurance. While these services differ in their approach, Linda brings extensive experience in working with vulnerable individuals and incorporates principles of ABA when appropriate to enhance therapeutic outcomes. If you have any questions about the services provided or insurance coverage, please feel free to contact us for further clarification.

With over 50 years of experience in the field of Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA), I have had the privilege of witnessing and contributing to the evolution of ABA from its early days to its current status as the gold standard of treatment for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
My journey began at McGill University in 1970, where I was first exposed to the theoretical foundations of ABA. Over the years, I have been involved in various pioneering programs, including leading one of the first community-based ABA programs for children with autism at Thistletown Regional Centre. I also played a key role in the development of the TREADD program, a comprehensive model combining ABA with educational strategies. I have contributed to training and mentoring professionals in the field, lectured at universities, and participated in regulatory development for ABA practices in Ontario.
Throughout my career, I have remained committed to advancing the science and practice of ABA, and I continue to supervise ABA programs across southern Ontario, sharing my knowledge with clients, families, and professionals.
